Open Enrollment FAQ
Important Dates for 26/27 school year
- March 1, 2026 filing deadline for grades 1st – 12th
- September 1, 2026 filing deadline for Kindergarten
Information about Open Enrollment from the Iowa Department of Education website by using the following link;

If a parent would like to open enroll their child they must;
- Complete an application for each child
- Send the application(s) to both the resident and receiving district
- Applications will be reviewed by both school boards to determine eligibility
